We’re thrilled to announce that our listing at 701 Abbot Street in Richland is now under contract.

Buyers and sellers, this sale offers some evidence of how the market is changing. A couple of months ago, a home in this price range would attract a bidding war and get sold in its first week on the market.

But mortgage rates are rising and there are more homes on the market. When we listed this home, we only had two showings the first weekend! But thanks to persistent marketing and great patience from our seller, we’re now under contract … about three weeks after we hit the market.

It took longer than expected, but I think that’s the “new normal” we’re in now.
