What a totally tubular time was had by all! For sure, don’tcha know? It was our Totally Awesome ’80s Skate Night and we all had so much fun!

Usually, when you’re in the Rockstar Rewards program, we have a monthly giveaway you can claim. But last month, we hosted an event instead, and wow — what a blast!

We shut down Rollarena on April 25th and were able to skate the night away, rocking out to some gnarly ’80s tunes. Everyone got a swag bag, and we provided pizza and soft drinks to all. It felt like high school all over again. Well, for me it did, but that’s because I was in high school in the ’80s. Some of the skaters weren’t even alive in the ’80s!

So it was good that some of our clients really got into the theme and dressed accordingly. Congrats to our Best Dressed and Best Skater winners — they collected gift card prizes (from Twigs, Fairchild Cinemas and Target) at the end of the party, and now they get eternal recognition here on our website! (Ironically, the winners of the Best Dressed Award weren’t even born until the 1990s! Oh, well!)

Take a scroll through all the pictures below and stroll down memory lane — and if it’s not memory lane for you, it’ll be like looking at old pictures you might find in an attic somewhere.

We love spending time with all of our Rockstar Rewards clients, and this event was no exception. Thank you, Rockstars!

(BTW, if you’re curious about joining Rockstar Rewards, drop us a note anytime!)

Best Dressed: Donovan and Julie Arambul

Best Skater: Sean Reaksecker

Best Skater – Honorable Mention: Melinda Woodward

Cari McGee

My husband and I came to the Tri-Cities in 1994, and we thought it would be a temporary stop on our way to larger cities. He was a television sports anchor at the time, and we planned to go wherever the "next step up" took us. Twenty-plus years later, we're still here and we've loved every minute of it! We have two children now, and we've found the Tri-Cities area is a wonderful place to raise a family. It's a great place to do outdoorsy things -- I like to hike Badger Mountain or run along the river path. I also love reading ... by a cozy fire in the winter or a beautiful picture window in the summer (with the A/C on!). I've been a licensed Realtor since 2004. I earned my managing broker's license in 2016, which means I can run my own brokerage, or create a team of real estate agents and supervise them, which is exactly what I did when I formed the Cari McGee Real Estate Team in 2018! We have administrative and marketing personnel, as well as additional agents to serve you. I became a director of the Tri-Cities Association of Realtors Board of Directors in 2016, became Secretary/Treasurer of the organization, and was elected to Vice President in 2019.
