Long Story Short

I haven’t posted since August! Shame on me!

The main reason for not posting has been a good one, though. I think so, anyway.

That last post I wrote, detailing my business, helped me to see that my brokerage had very little to do with the business I was obtaining and keeping. I was seeking out new clients and they were coming to me, regardless of the brokerage where I hung my hat.

After intense contemplation, discussions with my family, and a day full of emotions and tears, I changed brokerages on September 3rd, 2014.

I now work with RE/MAX Professionals!! It was a spectacular move for me, and I am thrilled to pieces to be able to say I am with RE/MAX, the number one name in real estate in the world!

So, with the all the hustle and bustle of changing offices, and finishing the year selling more volume than the year before, I haven’t had time to blog.

Almost every year, I pledge, “I will blog more this year!” And sometimes I do pretty well, and sometimes I don’t. So I am not going to promise anything this year. Just check back a couple times a month and see if I’ve added anything, okay? 😉

From my perspective of a new private office, shiny new listing and open house signs, and the energy and enthusiasm a new year always brings, I am wishing you a Happy New Year! 2015, here I come!!!

About The Author
Cari McGee

My husband and I came to the Tri-Cities in 1994, and we thought it would be a temporary stop on our way to larger cities. He was a television sports anchor at the time, and we planned to go wherever the "next step up" took us. Twenty-plus years later, we're still here and we've loved every minute of it! We have two children now, and we've found the Tri-Cities area is a wonderful place to raise a family. It's a great place to do outdoorsy things -- I like to hike Badger Mountain or run along the river path. I also love reading ... by a cozy fire in the winter or a beautiful picture window in the summer (with the A/C on!). I've been a licensed Realtor since 2004. I earned my managing broker's license in 2016, which means I can run my own brokerage, or create a team of real estate agents and supervise them, which is exactly what I did when I formed the Cari McGee Real Estate Team in 2018! We have administrative and marketing personnel, as well as additional agents to serve you. I became a director of the Tri-Cities Association of Realtors Board of Directors in 2016, became Secretary/Treasurer of the organization, and was elected to Vice President in 2019.
