I’ve lost twelve pounds since February 11th. Twleve pounds in three weeks is a big amount for a woman to lose that quickly. Men lose that much in a weekend if they only have one sandwich at lunch instead of two. Sigh – what can you do?

So, I’ve been a little obsessed with cakes and candies. And these yummy treats made me glad I live where I do, and not in any of the cities spotlighted!

I haven’t had the best luck with cars in my driving lifetime. My 1978 convertible VW Bug spun out across a LA freeway, resulting in a sprained neck and back for me. My 1991 Nissan Sentra had a paint issue with stripes of primer showing through the top coat. The 1999 Saturn I had started belching blue smoke in 2005 (and people who know about cars tell me that’s a VERY bad thing). So now I look forward to Consumer Report’s Annual Car Report. Gee, not a VW, Nissan or Saturn in the bunch!

AND, this is not the right way to take care of your mortgage woes. Please, if you find that you cannot pay your mortgage, talk to your lender, and talk to a lawyer.

And, finally, if you’re kind of political geek like I am, you might REALLY love this presidential-elections-though-the-years site.

Cari McGee

My husband and I came to the Tri-Cities in 1994, and we thought it would be a temporary stop on our way to larger cities. He was a television sports anchor at the time, and we planned to go wherever the "next step up" took us. Twenty-plus years later, we're still here and we've loved every minute of it! We have two children now, and we've found the Tri-Cities area is a wonderful place to raise a family. It's a great place to do outdoorsy things -- I like to hike Badger Mountain or run along the river path. I also love reading ... by a cozy fire in the winter or a beautiful picture window in the summer (with the A/C on!). I've been a licensed Realtor since 2004. I earned my managing broker's license in 2016, which means I can run my own brokerage, or create a team of real estate agents and supervise them, which is exactly what I did when I formed the Cari McGee Real Estate Team in 2018! We have administrative and marketing personnel, as well as additional agents to serve you. I became a director of the Tri-Cities Association of Realtors Board of Directors in 2016, became Secretary/Treasurer of the organization, and was elected to Vice President in 2019.
