Not that anyone reading this should care about the following tidbit of info, but I would absolutely LOVE to have another baby.  Apparently, I might be two years too late to join others in a mini-boom that occurred in 2006.  And, believe it or not, birth rates and real estate have something in common, as The New York Times reported.

I know it seems like I’m bringing Ardell from Seattle into my blog every other week, but when she writes something I agree with, I can’t help it! She wrote today about telling it like it is, and how some other agents don’t.  I couldn’t help laughing because my officemate at work and I always argue over the same thing mentioned in the post.  I always tell my clients to accurately fill out their disclosure form, because in the past, other sellers have found themselves wishing they could go back in time and change an answer, because they got caught trying to pull a fast one on the buyers.  My officemate thinks that I am calling my clients liars when I tell them that.  I insist I’m just trying to thoroughly represent them.

From the going-green department.  Amazing!  Full of chromium AND an excellent insulator – who knew?

And finally, my own beloved shares his datebook for the first part of the year, AND links to a nifty little Create-a-Ticket feature.  Fat chance of me getting pregnant with that kind of schedule!

Cari McGee

My husband and I came to the Tri-Cities in 1994, and we thought it would be a temporary stop on our way to larger cities. He was a television sports anchor at the time, and we planned to go wherever the "next step up" took us. Twenty-plus years later, we're still here and we've loved every minute of it! We have two children now, and we've found the Tri-Cities area is a wonderful place to raise a family. It's a great place to do outdoorsy things -- I like to hike Badger Mountain or run along the river path. I also love reading ... by a cozy fire in the winter or a beautiful picture window in the summer (with the A/C on!). I've been a licensed Realtor since 2004. I earned my managing broker's license in 2016, which means I can run my own brokerage, or create a team of real estate agents and supervise them, which is exactly what I did when I formed the Cari McGee Real Estate Team in 2018! We have administrative and marketing personnel, as well as additional agents to serve you. I became a director of the Tri-Cities Association of Realtors Board of Directors in 2016, became Secretary/Treasurer of the organization, and was elected to Vice President in 2019. I know, I know…but that doesn’t stop me from wanting one more. Just one, little tiny baby – with the precious soft skin and the way they smell and the first smile. Talk about God’s greatest gift…
