In a service-oriented job like mine, referrals are key. Actually, that’s an understatement…they’re HUGE! When someone likes the job I’ve done for them in either selling or buying a home, or both, and they tell other people, I obtain more business, and get even better at my job, because every sale teaches me something critical about business, houses, and human nature.
Becca and Kyle are a couple who asked me to sell their house on acreage in Benton City so they could buy a home more centrally located in Kennewick. And that’s what happened. A single mom with one child bought their place on the nice parcel of land, and they bought a brand spanking new home in the Southridge area of Kennewick. Working with them was a joy, especially the time I was scared to drive in the snow, and they, vets of blizzard conditions when they lived elsewhere, put me in their car and drove me around to look at houses one day instead of the more conventional way of me driving the client around!
