My husband and I came to the Tri-Cities in 1994, and we thought it would be a temporary stop on our way to larger cities. He was a television sports anchor at the time, and we planned to go wherever the “next step up” took us.
Twenty-plus years later, we’re still here and we’ve loved every minute of it!
We have two children now, and we’ve found the Tri-Cities area is a wonderful place to raise a family. It’s a great place to do outdoorsy things — I like to hike Badger Mountain or run along the river path. I also love reading … by a cozy fire in the winter or a beautiful picture window in the summer (with the A/C on!).
I grew up on the outskirts of the Tri-Cities, after my parents moved us from Southern California, to my mom’s hometown, because my dad thought it was a better place to raise children. I have fond memories of growing up in the country, near the river.
After getting married, I moved to my husband’s hometown of Melbourne, Australia. I worked for an advertising company that specialized in real estate and fell in love with the behind-the-scenes aspects of real estate. After eight years, we moved back to the Tri-Cities to be closer to my aging parents, and because I felt — like my father — that it was a great place to raise children.
I began helping businesses of all sizes succeed online in the late 1990s, with a specialty in SEO, local search marketing, content development and social media. I’ve consulted for companies as big as Target.com and as small as a mom and pop selling handcrafted wooden pens from their garage.
I’ve been surrounded by real estate agents my whole life. My dad opened his real estate brokerage in the early 1950s and stayed in business for more than 50 years. My sister also runs her own real estate brokerage. And my wife … obviously … is an agent, too.
We’ve helped hundreds of families and individuals buy and sell homes across the Tri-Cities. We’re ready to help you, too.
