I love staging. I think staging a home is incredibly important, so my thoughts on staging are as follows: Always do it when you’re a seller. And a lot of times sellers will be upset and they’ll say, “my house is perfect. I don’t need staging.” Unless you, yourself are a stager or an interior decorator, your house will be benefited by having some staging done.

Staging a house always helps sell houses faster and for more. Because the entire purpose of listing a home is creating an atmosphere that a buyer will walk into and imagine themselves there.

In most cases, when we are in a house that we’re living in, It looks like your house, it reflects you and your lifestyle. But we want to attract a buyer who has never — who may or may not be like you. And so we need to make it as neutral as possible so that they can imagine themselves there. And that’s what staging does.

And if you are a buyer and you’re walking into a house that’s neutral and you can imagine creating the life that you want in that house, you’re gonna pay top dollar and you’re gonna do it right away.
