Writing Your Way to a Sale

Posted on Jan 21, 2008 by in Real Estate Industry, Sellers

It’s always driven me crazy when people write ‘motivated’ in an ad.  Of COURSE they’re motivated, they wouldn’t be selling their house if they weren’t.  Turns out putting motivated in the ad sells the home faster, but for less money, on average.

I hesitate to use ‘beautiful’ in an ad, because it feels like an overused word.  However, if the stats are right, it sells for more, but not faster.

See what this small study revealed.
