Weather in the Tri-Cities

is crazy, natch.

(See what I just did there?  I started a sentence in the title, but ended it on the first line of the post.  My husband HATES it when people do that.  I love it!  I do it all the time in blog posts and e-mails. I’m sure if there were a way to speak in such a manner, I’d do that, too!)

Anyway, our weather does consist of four distinct seasons, which is really nice for a southern California girl like me.  We don’ t often have snow in December, but we often have it in January and February.  This year, we had a light, pretty snowfall on the 28th of December, and again on the 31st.  Then, on the evening of the 1st of January, a veritable Chinook wind blew through town and everything melted away like it was March, all of a sudden.
