New Development Coming to West Richland, WA

Posted on Feb 8, 2008 by in Buyers, West Richland Real Estate

Plans to develop 8,000 ares of West Richland land were unveiled this week. The master-planned community will be called Lewis and Clark Ranch. Okay, I realize that it is the job of developers to develop, and lay out plans and streets and decide what might go best where, but come on…Lewis and Clark Ranch? What a boring name. It’s like West Richland – bor-ing! Benton City, bor-ing! Kennewick is a cool name. Seattle is a cool name. Wenatchee, cool name. Kahlotus, cool name, bor-ing town.

But, the plans sound really exciting. I wonder if my beloved West Richland will keep it’s small-town feeling when all of this moves in?
