The big news this week was the rising Yakima River.  Pics and video were posted over at my West Richland Real Estate Blog.

Macy’s announced this week that it would be closing some of its stores across the country.  Thankfully, our local Macy’s is staying open. Phew – dodged a bullet there!

And the wind here this week was amazing!  We had gusts of up to 60 mph. KEPR posted this video of a semi-truck coming thisclose to toppling due to the conditions.

What’s a Local Improvement District? Here’s the scoop on an LID, in a nutshell.

This absolutely fascinates me.  What if the USA had to buy a house?  What’s our credit score? Could we even afford the White House?

    I enjoyed the US’s credit score link. I am surprised it was as good as 645 actually! That’s actually better than a lot of clients I have worked with in the past!
