Tax Credit Extended(…for some)!!

Posted on Aug 4, 2010 by Cari McGee in Buyers

Today’s post is a guest post by James Kelley, of the VA Benefits Blog.  James has good news for some veterans among my readership… Most home buyers who were under contract by April 30 have from June 30th to September 30th to close on their home in order to get the $6,500-$8,000 federal tax credit. Apartment Crime in the Tri-Cities

Posted on Jun 16, 2010 by Cari McGee in Buyers, Tri-Cities, WA

KEPR-TV recently did a story on apartment crime stats in the Tri-Cities. Even though I sell houses, and don’t deal in apartment or housing rentals, I’m including the link here because it’s got some good information. Should I Buy or Rent a Home in the Tri-Cities?

Posted on Apr 27, 2010 by Cari McGee in Buyers, Tri-Cities Market

Is now the time to buy a house in Tri-Cities? Or is it the time to rent? These aren’t the best questions to ask right now, because rentals are as scarce as a hen’s teeth around here. But let me share something about buying vs. renting, anyway. This article in the New York Times discusses [...]

Home Loans – Then and Now

Posted on Mar 25, 2010 by Cari McGee in Buyers

The only way getting a loan now versus getting a loan then is similar is as follows – it is a situation fraught with uncertainty. Home Loans: The Old Way In the old days, the borrower would dress up in his or her nicest clothing. Back when women wore dresses every day and men wore [...]

Update
